Cheyenne River is territory of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, a sovereign Tribal nation. These lands are located in the Midwestern United States though those borders, published by the United States Federal Government, may not represent the full extent of their ancestral lands as many nations were forced to relocate and their lands taken.
