Sitting amongst the manicured lawns and stately mansions of Pasadena, The Langham is an ridiculously luxurious hotel that’s been around for over a century. We’d pay the $10 valet fee simply to roam around the 23-acre estate, but stopping for a drink at The Tap Room is a good idea, too. The historic bar has a huge chandelier-adorned interior that looks like a suite on the Titanic, plus a wrap-around outdoor patio overlooking the grounds. If it’s gloomy out though, we’re inside by the fireplace sipping Scotch.
