Pimperne is a village and civil parish in north Dorset, England, situated on Cranborne Chase two miles northeast of the town of Blandford Forum. In the 2011 census the civil parish had 478 households and a population of 1109.The first records of Pimperne go back to the Domesday Book in the late 11th century, where it is recorded as "Pinpre", but it is believed that the village goes back to Anglo-Saxon times. A Bronze Age settlement was discovered in the barrows to the north of the village.
