Rooms are sleek and tech-forward with parquet floors, sophisticated lighting systems, custom bar carts stocked with spirits made in Texas, and floor-to-ceiling windows; some face sweeping views of Houston’s skyline, others look out over open-air plazas and tree-shaded walkways. The on-site fitness center is state-of-the-art, and the hotel’s stylish café is popular for breakfast. Still, the idea here is that everything’s walkable: everything from a great cappuccino to a perfect margarita is a short stroll away in the neighborhood.
