The Great North Museum is a visitor attraction in Newcastle upon Tyne in North East England. It features three venues: the Great North Museum: Hancock, the Hatton Gallery on the Newcastle University campus and the Regional Resource Centre in the basement of the Discovery Museum. All three venues are currently open.

This museum is free and very family friendly. The exhibits included items from Hadrian's Wall, stuffed animals, dinosaurs and minerals and would have excited the curiosity of the visitors.
Great museum in a fabulous building really near the city centre. Lots to look at and all free, although a donation is requested( and deserved)
