Rezzato is a comune in the province of Brescia, Lombardy. It is bounded by the comunes of Brescia, Botticino, Castenedolo, Mazzano and Nuvolera. It is located at the foot of the Alps and a few kilometres from Lake Garda. It is the most populous city east of Brescia. Officially founded on 12 March 1299, Rezzato has been an important religious and administrative centre since the Middle Ages.
