Port Mayaca is a sparsely populated place located in western Martin County, Florida, United States, on the eastern side of Lake Okeechobee. Named for the Mayaca Tribe, Port Mayaca is centered just south of the Port Mayaca Lock and Dams on the Okeechobee Waterway at the intersection of S.W. Kanner Highway,, and S.W. Gaines Highway,. There are few houses and businesses at this intersection. Most are strung out North and South along Gaines Highway or east along Kanner Highway.
