Brunch at Catch is a spectacle, but a fun one. On a recent visit we saw two people wearing fur coats, in August. (Don’t worry, that’s not the mandated dress code.) The $95 buffet setup spans two rooms, one for cold items like hamachi tartare cones and sushi, and the other dedicated to brunch classics like made-to-order omelets and bacon. Salmon nigiri and briny oysters topped with tangy mignonette get you off to a fresh start. When you’re ready for round two, everything bagels come with smoked salmon and cream cheese, and there’s a station stocked with robata skewers—we liked the New York strip served with bright, herby chimichurri. Once back at your table, flag down the roving cart doling out caviar from an ice-packed elephant.
