Shima is a city in Mie Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 January 2024, the city had an estimated population of 45,073 in 22,511 households and a population density of 251 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 179.67 square kilometres. Shima hosted the 2016 G7 Summit.
