I have been going to this hotel since the mid 80's. Thankfully it has been modernised to a very high standard. The staff are always very friendly and efficient. The meals are always great. Christmas .

Decided to try out the hotel for dinner after the renos and sadly regretted it Firstly the service was abysmal. Young wait crew with no service skills who looked like they wanted to be anywhere else .

Venue ambience and service was good. Can't say I was impressed with the food. Chicken Schnitzel was out of a cardboard box. Could have gone to Coles and got some. Salad was an ordinary bit of coleslaw
