This is the oldest gondola workshop in Venice and it was amazing to see it in action. There were repairs being made on a couple of gondolas and also a new one being built. They build only one new gond

Wij boekten een rondleiding met een privé gids in deze gondelwerkplaats, waar nog volledig authentiek gondels geproduceerd (1 per jaar!) en onderhouden worden. Heel interessant en erg fotogeniek.
