Chyżne is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jabłonka, within Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 6 kilometres south of Jabłonka, 33 km west of Nowy Targ, and 100 km south of the regional capital Kraków. The village lies in the drainage basin of the Black Sea, in the historical region of Orava.
