Wat Khao Rang is a beautiful and peaceful Buddhist temple on the edge of Phuket town, near the famous Monkey Hill. Standing out are the two enormous mythical guardians (giants) that protect the templ.

We came here as a recommendation from the hotel staff. We found we liked this one far more than Wat Chalong. It seemed to be a lot more intimate and the temple at the top of the stairs was far more i.
