Godavarikhani is a neighbourhood of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation of Ramagundam city in the Indian state of Telangana. It is also called as the Coal City,River City and City of Black Gold. The name of the city was coined by Geetla Janardhan Reddy as it is situated on the banks of the Godavari River and Khani which refers to mines/minerals as the city is known for its rich coal deposits. Godavarikhani is located on the banks of Godavari River in Peddapalli district.
