ʻEwa Villages is a census-designated place located in the ʻEwa District and the City& County of Honolulu on the leeward side of Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi approximately 20 miles from downtown Honolulu. As of the 2020 census, the CDP had a population of 7,825. This area was previously known as ʻEwa. In the late 19th century to early 20th century, ʻEwa was one of the large population centers on the island of Oʻahu, with industry focused around sugar cane production.
