Salida del Sol Estates is a colonia and census-designated place in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census. It is situated in the southwestern part of the county, 6 miles north of U.S. Route 83 in Penitas and 18 miles west of Edinburg, the county seat.
