Only the sacred text is a Vietnamese and Yugoslavian menu, combining the backgrounds of the two owners. Sunset Phở Caffe's namesake soup comes with brisket, tripe, and meatballs, and has a beefy, slightly sweet broth with added depth from warming spices. We also like their rice plates with lemongrass pork chop or baguettes loaded with smoky cevapcici, ajvar, and kajmak. Those dishes are enough to make us regulars, but their “Buy 10 Get One Free” phở punch card is another reason you’ll find the holy-looking dining room full of soup devotees.
