This definitely felt like a real, every day market - VERY different from la Boqueria. It was very clean and not crowded at all. I enjoyed stopping at one of the counters for a fish and a glass of wine

Not far from the tourist centre, but occupying another world. The market has been renovated. It’s spotless. The fish, meat and vegetable hall is better stocked than Boqueria, but no tourists ( irony .

This is not a huge market but it has a good selection of meats, fish, vegetables, charcuterie, etc. And unlike many of the larger markets in the center of Barcelona this one doesn't cater to tourist..
