Kamiina is a district located in southern Nagano Prefecture, Japan. As of May 2008, the district has an estimated population of 86,453 with a density of 168 persons per km2. The total area is 514.55 km2. On the other hand, if the cities of Ina and Komagane were included, the area will be known as the Kamiina Region.
