The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is a scientific centre for the study of plants, their diversity and conservation, as well as a popular tourist attraction. Founded in 1670 as a physic garden to grow medicinal plants, today it occupies four sites across Scotland — Edinburgh, Dawyck, Logan and Benmore — each with its own specialist collection.

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is one of my absolute favourite places in the city. When I lived in Edinburgh, it was somewhere I returned to often for a peaceful hour-long walk, and it never lost
Attended Christmas at the botanics with 2 adults and 3 children (2 being older teenagers so not young children) The lights were pretty enough but nothing anyone actually wanted to stop at and see/wat.
