Cedars is mostly known for their takeout lunch, but it’s also the ultimate feel-good casual dinner spot. There are a ton of windows that let in a lot of light, and the lighter-than-usual Indian food is great. Think spot-on samosas with less density than you’re used to, chicken tikka masala with not much cream at all, and saag paneer that’s mostly spinach (but tastes good). Make up for the slightly lower calorie count by getting an order of garlic naan which has the char and size of an entire Neapolitan pizza.
