Yesterday,as our home course was busy, we ventured to Hartswood Golf Course Mild expectation from a Council Course but very pleasantly surprised. Excellent practice putting green and pitching green...

At £28 on a weekday in winter, not good value for money. Very boggy and a lot of tempary greens. But to be fair i enjoyed the course design and it looks as though it will be nice in summer. I will be.

Course is very Well looked after . Shame you cannot have a drink or food without being a member but there’s a pub up the road . I general the course is in excellent condition and the Greens are super.
