Bulger is a census-designated place in Smith Township, Pennsylvania. A suburb of Pittsburgh, Bulger's 2020 census population was 379 residents. Bulger was a coal mining town and was the birthplace of football player Doug Russell. and home to Kyle Golik, a national football columnist and member of the Football Writers Association of America.
