Winterton-on-Sea is a village and civil parish on the North Sea coast of the English county of Norfolk. It is 8 miles north of Great Yarmouth and 19 miles east of Norwich. The civil parish has an area of 2.2 square miles and at the 2001 census had a population of 1,359 in 589 households. Winterton-on-Sea borders the villages of Hemsby, Horsey and Somerton. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Great Yarmouth.
