East Farmingdale is a hamlet and a census-designated place located in the Town of Babylon in Suffolk County, on the South Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 6,617 at the time of the 2020 census. In the past, some or all East Farmingdale was proposed to become part of the never-realized Incorporated Village of Half Hollow Hills.
