I will say, for the price we paid we got what we expected. The hotel definitely could use a remodel, but as long as you were having a drink, you could overlook some things. We ended up at this resort
I’ve stayed at about a dozen all-inclusive resorts, and unfortunately Riu Republica ranks at about a 3-star level at best. The rooms are in serious need of renovation. Many things are worn down or ru.
Resort was nice. Restaurants and staff where very good. The pools and pool bars where excellent. A great location on the beach. Over all maintenance and cleanliness of the resort was poor.
