Ōgimi is a village located in Kunigami District, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. As of October 2016, the village has an estimated population of 3,024 and a population density of 51 persons per km2. The total area is 63.12 square kilometres. Several censuses have established that this village has the highest longevity index in the world with a large percentage of the population being over 100 years old.
