Room was modern, big and comfortable. Good value for money. Very close access to the lake but in a quieter and less touristy area still plenty of restaurants and cafes close by and bike hire shops right on the lakes edge for 20 yuan per day. Closest bus stop C2 bus takes you straight into the old town was a 25min walk so not great for public transport but ok if youre biking, catching taxis or dont mind walking. The rooftop terrace in the photos doesnt exist which was a shame.No daily housekeeping but supplies in the hallway which you can grab. No reception as it is located above a restaurant so contact the owner via we chat on arrival no English. There was a washing machine and clothes lines which could be used for free at another homestay around the corner.

We stayed at Lanyue No.3 Courtyard Homestay and had a really pleasant experience. The guesthouse is located near the Erhai Ecological Corridor, making it very easy to book Didi rides, and both pickup and drop-off were convenient. The restaurant is on the ground floor while the rooms are upstairs. We stayed in rooms 302 and 303 both were spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view of Cangshan Mountain right from the window.Its only a 10–15 minute ride to Dali Ancient Town, so the location is great for sightseeing. But the biggest highlight of this guesthouse is definitely the price its incredibly affordable for what you get If we return to Dali, we will definitely stay here again Cons The stairs HAHAHA our rooms were on the third floor, and carrying our big luggages all the way up was a workout 🤣. Theres also no reception, so youll need to contact the owner upon arrival for instructions, but the owner is very friendly and helpful whenever you need something. No bidet as well.
