The inn is situated at the northern gate of Lijiangs Old Town. It is conveniently located, just a five-minute walk from the Big Waterwheel and Sifang Street. Spanning an area of 1.3 mu, the property was originally established as the Lijiang Green Mountain Academy in 1723 during the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty. With a history spanning three centuries, the academy underwent renovations during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. In 2003, it was officially designated as a cultural heritage protection site by Lijiang City. In 2024, it was renamed Lijiang Shitouji and integrated into the Nanshan area. Following a comprehensive upgrade, the inn transformed into a fully smart homestay, equipped with advanced features such as intelligent toilets, lighting systems, and motorized curtains. While preserving its historical allure, the property also embodies a modern aesthetic. The premises include a private garden and courtyard, each measuring approximately 300 square meters. Its southern orientation ensures ample natural light throughout the day.
