The twin-courtyard residency consists of five traditional houses – three of Naxi origins and two of Bai origins. In these structures, one may observe wooden beam-and-column designs as well as old tile roofs representative of both Naxi and Bai architectural styles. Against this backdrop of local heritage, one also finds a touch of modern renovation and a rich infusion of the hosts treasured collectionsranging from Chinese antiques to medieval European furniture and ancient art.
