WanderHotel is located at the entrance of the Ming Great Wall Shentangyu Pass in Yanqi Town, Huairou, Beijing. This place was named Guandi Village due to the ancient official armys deployment of troops to open up wasteland. The trickling Yanqi River flows through the valley at the entrance. There is a boardwalk built under the pass that connects the inside and outside of the pass. The castle inside the pass is still there, and the chestnut and walnut trees outside the pass are scattered throughout the valley. The strange rocks here are rugged, and the clear water flows. You can see egrets playing by the water, squirrels jumping on branches, but also pay attention to other small animals.
