民国十一年,合川县人陈举贤、陈锡藩兄弟先后创办集文书局、中华书局。弟弟锡藩虽以书为营生,但喜欢烹调,闲时常与夫人一起烹饪各种菜肴,尤其喜欢卤制猪蹄,经多年潜心摸索,得一手卤制猪蹄的绝技。 据说,卢作孚先生到书局做客,连声称道卤猪蹄美味绝伦,即兴吟诗一首: 夕阳西坠满天霞,中华书局鉴书画, 主人盛邀入席坐,满桌菜肴皆美味; 余生踪迹遍全球,中西菜肴未曾诱, 今品锡藩家中菜,唯有合州陈蹄花 锡藩之长孙,当今中国烹饪大师陈永红先生,常问婆婆制作要领,得婆婆真传。九十年代初,到北京远东饭店师从特级厨师何先华名下;先华离开北京后,又拜托川菜大师骆国瑞传授技艺,2015年跟师兄弟一起创办陳蹄花餐
