If you’re in the mood to hunt for a hidden gem, take your time. A few upstairs shops have surprisingly elegant displays — full shelves of vases or bronze ware — and some artisans are clearly doing bespoke work. It’s not bustling, but it’s far from deserted. More of a quiet haven for collectors or curious browsers. A nice offbeat stop if you want to experience a slice of old Hangzhou market culture.
