The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History is a natural history museum on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, Iowa. The museum was founded in 1858 by instruction of the Iowa General Assembly as the Cabinet of Natural History. It is housed within Macbride Hall, located in the Pentacrest area of the university campus.

Great way to spend some free time with my 13 year old son while my daughter and husband did a University tour. The exhibits were quite interesting and educational.
What an amazing exhibit!! Such a cool stop. Easily we spent an hour and a half to two hours here; the exhibits are so well done and well surpassed any expectations I had.
