The University of Alabama Arboretum is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Loop Road, and is adjacent to the Harry Pritchett Running Park (former golf course). The 60-acre arboretum includes ornamental and native plant gardens, greenhouses, 100+ species of trees and shrubs, an open-air pavilion, amphitheater, tree platform, community garden, and 2.5 miles of walking trails through native piney woods and hickory-oak climax forest.
