I actually was a huge fan of this campground. It is right near the entrance once you get inside of Mesa Verde National Park. It is the only campground inside the park too. The reason I liked this camp

The campground was very clean as were the showers. We did not check out the laundry and we definitely avoided being at the site during the middle of the day because we would've just fried. There's not

We had a fabulous stay at this campground. Three nights total, you do need to look around to find a site that has a bear box and reasonable shade but when we arrived there were several to choose from.
