In the centre of Zurich, right next to the Münsterhof square, this compact restaurant is tucked away in a side street. The concept is "counter dining": guests take their seats at the counter for an eight-course set menu that takes its cue from the seasons and is made from excellent ingredients. The cuisine is Asian, with an emphasis on seafood. Shining examples of dishes include "golden garlic oyster royale – hint of chilli", "langoustine broth with corn harmony" and Peking duck. A choice of sake, wine or alcohol-free beverages complements the food. Hostess Lin Wang is always on hand and will gladly explain the dishes and ingredients. The set menu is available Wed-Mon in two sittings. Important: Be sure to book, as they can only accommodate eight diners! Given the location near the River Limmat, it would be a shame to miss the opportunity to take a stroll while you are here.
