This Lebanese street food spot is a true family affair. The first person you see might be the owners’ kids waving at you behind the counter, while mom and dad throw kibbeh in the fryer and make chicken shawarma wraps toasted on a panini press. The latter is a house specialty for a reason: punchy from garlic paste and thinly shaved pickles, it's stuffed with a handful of crispy fries that soak up the sauce. There’s also a beef shawarma wrap rich with tahini sauce, a Lebanese-style burger, and 50 or so other dishes that make up a surprisingly large menu for a counter-service restaurant in a strip mall. If you’re overwhelmed, ask the owners for a suggestion. They’ll probably point you to the excellent kibbeh, and maybe gift you a chocolate bar from the shelves of imported Lebanese snacks lining the wall.
