The Virginia Air and Space Center is a museum and educational facility in Hampton, Virginia that also serves as the visitors center for NASA's Langley Research Center and Langley Air Force Base. The museum also features an IMAX digital theater and offers summer aeronautic- and space-themed camps for children.

Tried to visit this place, was closed on Monday & Tuesday, which didn't match my availability. Looked like a nice site, but will have to visit on my next visit to Hampton.
MoreGreat experience. Elevator was out of order. Ladies bathroom door was missing. Kids play could have more things to do.
MoreWe had a great time here. See planes and the Apollo space capsule. There was info to read and hands on exhibits. My only complaint is that some of the hands on things were broken and some of the TV's
