LessI have to choose Cabana’s first physical retail space in the heart of Milan. It's been such an exciting journey for us all. The store is on Via Borgospesso and offers the classic Cabana mix of tabletop treasures, vintage finds, magazines and books.
Stephan is Milan’s best couturier and one of my favorite people. All of his dresses and designs are extremely feminine and timeless. They are also perfect for bespoke and bridal.
Another good friend of mine, Uberta Zambeletti, has an eclectic store in Milan, on Via Santa Marta. It's a great destination for well-priced, stylish garments.
Fondazione Prada is simply unmissable. It's my favorite design destination with creations by Dimorestudio founders, Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, and an incredible vintage selection.
Milan’s churches are very special indeed, and not to be missed if you're an architecture lover. In particular, I recommend visiting Chiesa Santa Maria della Passione.
Chiesa di Sant’Alessandro is another must-visit church in Milan, a beautiful example of classic Italian architecture.
San Bernardino alle Ossa is a small, baroque chapel in Milan. Its walls are dramatically lined with real human skulls and bones, creating one of the city’s most haunting—and unforgettable—sacred spaces.
After all these years living in Milan, Da Giacomo, on Via Pasquale Sottocorno, still remains my favorite restaurant in the city. Decorated by Renzo Mongiardino, it is a Milanese classic with delicious, traditional food. Not to be missed.
The best pizza in town. Le Specialità is a cozy, unpretentious restaurant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere and very good food. It's one of my favorite spots for good reason.
One of the finest antique dealers in the world, Carlo Orsi's shop on Via Bagutta is open by appointment only. Be prepared to gaze in stupor at some of the most beautiful works displayed on their walls. Important pieces by Botticelli and Canova have passed through here.
Pennisi is one of the best in the world for antique and vintage jewelry, in my opinion. They have an extraordinary selection of fascinating, exquisite pieces from various periods. You can’t walk past their windows without being tempted inside.
Sant Ambroeus on Corso Giacomo Matteotti is truly the best patisserie in town. Its best-kept secret is the actual workshop in the lower ground floor; this is where all the magic happens.
