Ashley is a proud Korean American gal who believes the camera eats first. Whether it’s sharing words of wisdom in her car or giving a boost of serotonin with her quirky facial expressions, you can always count a tasty meal in front of her.
LessMy favorite AYCE (all you can eat) Korean BBQ spot. They have a large array of quality meats, a super lively vibe, and delicious side dishes. This is where I love to bring a group of friends if we want to have have a fun Koreatown night.
These corndogs live in my head rent-free. You're getting Korea's version of a corndog that's incredibly crispy, filled with mozzarella cheese, and topped with sugar. The combo may sound weird, but it's something you gotta try for yourself. Trust me.
A very modern and hip vibe coffee shop on Wilshire Blvd. Probably the best coffee shop in Koreatown, in my opinion. Their coffee and tea drinks are well balanced and incredibly delicious. The owners use the space to showcase local artists, and this really gives the space a great energy.
Soju, Korean bar food, and immaculate vibes. When it's time to let loose and have a night out with friends, I always head to Star Night. They have an indoor-outdoor flow, karaoke rooms, and a full bar. No matter what you do here, you're going to have a good time.
I'm a noodle girl and this is the only place in Los Angeles that serves Yukgaejang (spicy beef noodle soup) with fresh-cut pasta noodles. Their soup, bossam (pork belly), and beef short ribs are my ultimate comfort food. Just make sure not to wear your favorite white t-shirt here.
This is the spot to come to for all-you-can-eat sushi with your friends. Great place to have drinks and try a ton of different things on the menu. If you have a big enough order, ask for it to be served on the sushi boat!
