Less7AM: Experience the last word in luxury hotels by checking into The Upper House, a haven of contemporary Chinese cool by Hong Kong interior architect André Fu. Soak out the travel fatigue in a spa-like limestone tub as you gaze down upon the wakening harbour.
8AM : Inhale the distinctive earthy scent of fifteen-year-aged Pu-erh tea grown in Yunnan at Luk Yu Tea House, then order extra helpings of the delicious cloud-like char siu bao (barbecue pork buns) and plump har gow (shrimp dumplings).

4PM : Explore Victoria Dockside, the city’s newest art and design district on the Tsim Sha Tsui harbourfront. The K11Musea complex has everything from design and art to fashion. Then revive over a cup of tea and scones at 181 at Fortnum & Mason.

MIDNIGHT : Reserve a VIP room, modelled on a first-class railway carriage, at Foxglove, a snug bar hidden speakeasy-style within an umbrella shop. Sip classic cocktails while watching cabaret acts or live jazz.
