Specializing in Korean cuisine, Chef Peter Cho likes to change things up with the seasons, but quality is never compromised. Han Oak re-opened with a new concept after lockdowns -- the Han Oak Hot Pot. The tasting menu boasts seasonal dishes that are thoughtfully cooked to perfection. Complete your meal with an exceptional wine pairing (one of the best in Portland) or opulent supplements like oysters and caviar. There’s two tasting menus to choose from: 4-courses for $75 and 7-courses (non-vegetarian) for $135.

Tercet, formally called Roe, has long-graced the top of Portland’s fine dining scene in the seafood category. The restaurant used the long lock-down during the pandemic to reset and reflect before reopening under a new name (while keeping most of the same team). Using Japanese, French and Peruvian techniques, the restaurant's commitment to excellence shines through in the 8-course tasting menu. It's well-curated and guarantees to satisfy just as it has in the past. $150 per person.

This chic seafood-forward restaurant is dressed to impress and exudes a welcoming vibe. Between the quirky decor (shout-out to the Bill Murray portrait) and the knowledgeable staff, you'll feel right at home The easy-going vibe is not to be misunderstood, they take seafood very seriously. All dishes are thoughtfully prepared with ingredients scored the morning of, ensuring the meal is as fresh as possible. $75 per person.

Arden is a beloved wine bar beautifully straddling the fine line between restaurant and bar. Best known for fantastic themed dinners and an extensive list of local wines, it’s hard to think of a better place to take a date. Located in the trendy Pearl District, Arden is a hot spot for serious foodies. To get a proper full experience make reservations for the chef’s prix fixe menu with the wine pairing.
