"Going 50+ years strong, Mize’s Thriftway has happily served its customers since 1970. While not at its original location on Main Street, they’ve been at their new location on the north side of town since 1990. My grandfather started this grocery store, and it’s been a place of employment for much of my family and many kids who’ve graduated from Clearwater High. It was where I was given my first job unloading produce pallets in my early years."

She will scold you if you order your food too spicy because she doesn’t think you can handle it. It is said she has the hottest Thai food in town, but for me, it’s not about the level of hot - it’s the flavor. Never been disappointed by the food and I’m always entertained by this wonderful woman."
